Mingalar Calendar: MM & Thai (the "app"). Last updated: 23 October 2026.

The short version

What the app stores on your phone

Your language, which week day the week starts on, which holiday lists (Myanmar, Thailand) you show, the time until which the year planner is unlocked, and counters the app needs to space out ads. This stays on your phone and is removed when you uninstall the app. We do not receive it.

What the app asks the internet for

The home screen widget works from data on your phone and shows no ads.

Ads (Google AdMob)

The app shows ads using the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob). According to Google, the SDK collects and shares, for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention:

This data is sent to Google over an encrypted connection. We do not receive it and cannot identify you from it. Google's own description is at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

Where the law requires it (for example in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom), the app asks for your choice with Google's consent form before it requests any ads. You can open that form again at any time in Settings, then Privacy and ads. You can also reset your advertising ID or turn off ad personalization in your Android settings (usually under Google, then Ads).

Children

The app is not meant for children. We do not knowingly collect data from children, and ad requests are marked as not child-directed.

Reporting a wrong date

The "Report a wrong date" button opens your own email app with a draft message. Nothing is sent unless you send it. If you do, we receive your email address and what you wrote, and we use it only to check and fix the date.

Your choices

You can uninstall the app to remove everything it stores. We hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing for us to delete. For data held by Google, use your Google account's privacy controls.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will change the date at the top of this page.
